Policy & Advocacy

A core function of the AHWG is to advocate for policies that increase access to health insurance and comprehensive care. AHWG’s advocacy includes compiling data to inform policy makers, monitoring safety net youth health services in SF city policies and budgets, and informing and engaging adolescent health providers in the policy/budget process.
