By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Use screening and assessment tools to identify behavioral health issues of adolescents
  
• Use tools provided to provide brief counseling and in-office interventions for general behavioral health concerns
  
• Assess for behavioral health issues that require referral to community behavioral health resources
  
• Identify and address barriers to obtaining behavioral health assistance
  
• Use resources provided to direct the adolescent to appropriate behavioral health services
  
• Provide relevant educational materials for adolescents and families
