By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Use screening and assessment tools to identify behavioral health issues of adolescents
- Use tools provided to provide brief counseling and in-office interventions for general behavioral health concerns
- Assess for behavioral health issues that require referral to community behavioral health resources
- Identify and address barriers to obtaining behavioral health assistance
- Use resources provided to direct the adolescent to appropriate behavioral health services
- Provide relevant educational materials for adolescents and families
Physicians can earn CME hours and nurses can earn CEU hours without charge.
